Modified paper-plastic composite is a packaging material in which paper fibre carries most of the structure and a greatly reduced plastic fraction supplies the moisture and grease barrier. PT Green Tech Solution developed its own modified composite process in-house, which cuts plastic content compared with conventional plastic packaging while keeping barrier performance and remaining recyclable.
Is moulded pulp packaging recyclable?
Yes. PT Green Tech Solution's moulded pulp trays, inserts and pallets are pressed from recycled paper fibre, are recyclable in standard paper streams and are compostable. They are used as a plastic-free replacement for EPS foam, plastic trays and timber pallets.
